Top Captain Picks

1. Philippe Coutinho vs Everton (home) - £8.9 (TSB 8.5%)

The Brazilian magician is in career best form at the moment, with 4 goals and 3 assists in his past 2 starts (all competitions). Full of confidence, expect Coutinho to deliver in the Merseyside Derby.

2. Eden Hazard vs West Ham (away) - £10.8 (TSB 13.2%)

With 4 goals and 3 assists in his past 3 starts, Hazard is another player in top form. Against Newcastle last weekend, the Belgian managed an astonishing 9 shots, 6 of which were on target. If he can replicate anything near this effort against the worst defence in the Premier League in West Ham, Hazard could return a large haul again this GW.

3. Harry Kane vs Stoke (home) - £12.8 (TSB 37.4%)

With the Champions League group stage complete, Spurs will now shift their focus to the Premier League and should begin to hit their straps. This should see Kane’s productivity increase drastically. Rested mid-week and playing the second worst defence in the league, Kane will most likely deliver FPL points this week. He does enjoy playing Stoke, netting 6 goals and 1 assist in his 7 games against the Potters, including a 20 point haul in this fixture last season.

1. Aaron Ramsey vs Southampton (away) - £7.2 (TSB 9.2%)

It seems that Ramsey is re-finding his 2013/14 form this season, with 3 goals and 8 assists in 13 starts. Having only blanked once in the last 7 GWs, Ramsey is consistently rewarding FPL managers with returns, and his underlying statistics show that this is no fluke, as he has managed 21 shots, 16 shot assists, 11 successful tackles and 33 successful duels over this period. The Welshman is one to watch this GW.

2. Heung-Min Son vs Stoke (home) - £7.9 (TSB 1.5%)

The South Korean dynamo is yet to reach the heights of last season, but this could be the GW where he explodes. Managing 3 goals and 2 assists in his past 5 home starts (all competitions), Son is in great form. On the back of his exploits in GW15 and in the Champions League mid-week, Son has 2 goals in a week, and will be looking to extend this run in GW16. Facing Stoke, who were the side he kick-started his season against last season (2 goals and 1 assist in one match), Son is an exceptional FPL option this GW.

3. Anthony Martial vs Manchester City (home) - £8.0 (TSB 3.1%)

Martial is not guaranteed many minutes, but he has shown this season that he doesn’t need many to register FPL returns. Having registered 4 goals and 2 assists in 7 home appearances this season (only 2 starts), Martial can rip a game open in a matter of seconds. In the biggest game of the Premier League season so far, it may take a moment of magic from the Frenchman to claim all three points.
